Through studying the history of art from the Renaissance (1400–1600) to Contemporary Art (1950–Present),
I have gradually absorbed and selected elements that resonate with me from different artistic periods.
These influences are combined and developed into the visual language that shapes my paintings today.
This project is an ongoing body of work that records moments of life through small paintings on wooden panels.
Each piece emerges from events, emotions, or thoughts encountered at a particular moment in time.
All works are created on wooden panels size 24.5 x 35 cm. On the back of each piece,
a short text is laser-engraved, describing the story, reflection, or feeling connected to that moment.
Each painting becomes a fragment of time—a small grain within the landscape of a life.
Over time, these fragments gradually accumulate and come together,
forming a living portrait of the artist in the present moment.
The project has no defined ending. I continue creating new pieces as life unfolds.
These works are periodically exhibited, inviting viewers to encounter these fragments of lived experience—moments
in which they may recognize reflections of their own lives.
Ultimately, everything fades away. Even the works that I devote my life to creating cannot accompany me forever.
Letting these paintings go is like allowing those moments to fade away from my possession, without clinging to the images or the stories I created.
In doing so, I prepare myself for the death that is gradually approaching.
Through this project, I hope viewers will understand the truth that the things that make us happy or unhappy don't actually exist; they are merely creations of ourselves.
