Being overweight makes our body feel bigger and softer. Some people worry a lot about it, some feel stressed, and some don’t really mind. For me, I felt that being overweight didn’t bring any real benefit.

I’m 180 cm tall, and at my heaviest, I weighed around 105 kilograms. That was during early secondary school. Everything I did felt uncomfortable and physically exhausting.

When my weight was at its highest, I often had severe nosebleeds. When they happened, they would last a long time — it felt like it might have been related to high blood pressure. Strangely, after the bleeding stopped, my headaches would ease and I would feel better. I took it as a warning sign that I needed to take better care of my health.

So I started exercising and eating healthier. Gradually, my condition improved, and eventually, those symptoms disappeared.
