Today we renovated the hallway. After repainting both the walls and the floor, we asked Khun Phit to help install track lights along the wall.

There’s an empty wall by the staircase that we’ve been wanting to hang a large painting on. But drilling into that wall is extremely difficult because it’s positioned right along the stairway — there’s barely any proper standing space.

So Uncle came up with a solution: he carefully leaned a ladder against a tiny edge along the outer stair railing. It looked quite dangerous, since the surface area to support the ladder was very small.

Seeing that risky moment — the balance, the tension, the determination — we decided to turn it into a drawing as a keepsake.
