I have come to see the cycle of birth and death in this world.

Whatever we are deeply attached to in this life, when we die, we tend to be reborn in connection with that very thing. And while we are alive, we must also face the consequences of what we have done in the past — this is what we call karma.

So what is the true reason we are born?
Are we born to repay our karmic debts?
Or are we born because we still want to live again — because we are still attached to desire?

Attached to pleasure.
Attached to sensuality.
Attached to money and countless worldly things.

To no longer circle through birth and death would mean no longer wanting anything at all — seeing clearly the true nature of desire, growing weary of it, and becoming disenchanted with the illusions of this world.

But understanding the truth of the world is not easy at all. And so, we continue to see countless living beings arising again and again within it.
