I’ve had the opportunity to visit the United States five or six times, starting when I was in seventh grade and continuing up until I was 28 years old.
To be honest, I don’t find the food there particularly delicious overall. In my opinion, the food in Thailand tastes better. That said, there are certain flavors and dishes in the U.S. that are difficult to find in Thailand.
Fast food is especially popular there. Personally, one of my favorite meals is a Chipotle-style Mexican bowl. It usually includes rice, sour cream, lettuce, red onions, meat, avocado, corn, chili sauce, salad dressing, and cheese, all mixed together.
It’s a combination of flavors that I really enjoy and one that feels quite different from the food I usually eat in Thailand.
