I had wanted to bring Dee to visit Bon for a long time because I hadn't been able to see him in person for many years—probably around ten years.

During that time, Bon would still come to Thailand about once a year and stay for two or three weeks, so we were able to keep in touch. Even so, it wasn't the same as visiting him and seeing his life there for myself.

I was really happy that I finally had the chance to bring Dee to meet Bon, his wife, and her family. Seeing them together and seeing the life they had built gave me a sense of relief.

Everything seemed good. They looked happy, comfortable, and at peace. Knowing that Ball was doing well made me worry much less and gave me a lot of comfort.
