Khun Boong, Mata, The Boongbing, Look Krabook, and many other names — they’re all the same cat. She has many names and is deeply loved by Peem.

She was the last cat we ever bought. We got her from Fish Village in Ratchaburi, which is mainly a bird shop. The cat originally belonged to the shop owner’s home, but they couldn’t continue taking care of her, so they decided to sell her. The original price was 7,500 baht, and after some bargaining, we brought her home for 5,500 baht.

She’s a long-haired Scottish Fold with folded ears. When she was little, she had a small gray patch on her head, but as she grew up, the gray mark slowly disappeared, and now she’s completely white.

Krabook has been through so much with us. We’ve been together since university days at Narach dormitory, and now she lives with us at our current studio shophouse.

She truly loves only us — especially Peem. With other people, she won’t allow them to touch her. She may hiss or give a gentle bite, but she’s not aggressive — just protective and selective.
