Nong Chi was sitting in the corner of the room, looking very confused. At first, we thought she had spotted a gecko or some kind of insect. But when we went closer to check, there was nothing there. Maybe it was just dust being blown by the wind, creating the illusion that something was moving in the corner.

Chi has such a tiny head — and with her ears folded down, they’re almost invisible. The way she was lowering her head and staring so seriously at that empty corner created the most adorable scene.

I couldn’t resist capturing her cuteness in a drawing. And that’s how this artwork, “Nong Chi, Confused,” came to life.
