I donated blood for the first time when I was in my final year of high school.

At the time, the Thai Red Cross organized a blood donation drive at the school's auditorium. Naturally, not many students were eager to donate because it seemed a little frightening.

However, our school had a behavior point system. Students who accumulated too many negative behavior points could face problems with graduation.

To encourage participation, the school offered a reduction of 50 behavior points to anyone who donated blood. As a result, almost every student whose points were over the limit decided to donate.

What started as a practical way to reduce behavior points ended up becoming my first experience with blood donation, and it eventually turned into something I continued doing long after I graduated.
