“Chee-sob” is a snack that my mom often buys to offer to monks at a forest temple, because it can be eaten after noon. However, the ones being sold are usually quite expensive and not very good in quality. So we decided to make our own instead.
We bought sliced cheddar cheese from Makro, cut each slice into four smaller pieces, and arranged them on a sheet of paper. Before microwaving, we sprinkled a little sugar on top to balance out the saltiness. Then we microwaved them for 1 minute and 15 seconds.
After taking them out, we let them air-dry for about 20–30 minutes until they became crisp. And that’s it — ready to be packed into a container and enjoyed.
