We were preparing a guest room for visitors — or for Peem’s mom when she comes to stay overnight. There was still some furniture missing, so we went to IKEA to look for pieces to complete the room. We found a table on sale — it looked nice and seemed perfect to use as a coffee table in front of the TV. In the end, we bought two of them.

After the room was finished, we let Nong Chi come in to “try it out.” She immediately seemed to love the table and made herself completely comfortable on top of it. The table isn’t small at all — but Chi is quite a big girl, so she took up most of the space. She refused to leave the room, and we eventually had to carry her out before her fur covered the whole room.

Peem’s mom is allergic to cat fur, even though she actually likes cats — she just can’t stay around them for too long.
