Nong Chi — our big, chubby cat — absolutely loves sleeping in boxes.

We even bought a large box so he could lie down comfortably with plenty of space. But in the end, he prefers a box that’s smaller than his own body. It’s so tight that the sides of the box actually bulge outward. He must like that snug, compressed feeling — warm and secure.

When he’s curled up inside the box, we like to pull it closer and gently pet him while he naps. It’s strangely satisfying and soothing to watch him so content in such a tiny space.
