The story of writing on the back of the painting began when I started looking for a thick marker to write with. After searching for a while, I found red, white, and silver pens.
When it comes to scanning handwritten text into a computer, the red pen was probably the best choice. But to me, the red ink felt a little too harsh or ominous for some reason, so I chose the silver pen instead.
The result was that the silver ink didn't scan properly at all. I ended up having to rewrite everything from scratch. I really should have chosen differently.
